Here we have a 1979 Porsche 928 ! I have decided to retire this year and its time I reduce the size of my collection of cars. According to the previous owner, it was puchased originally by a Saudi Arabian Prince who attended CSU @ Boulder , Colorado in 1979. Also, he states that it has had only two owners since new. I have not been able to verify this information as it was produced before 1981 when manufacturers started using 17 digit vin numbers. Carfax does not offer history on cars that have less than 17 digits in the vin# This Porsche 928 is equipped with a 4.5L V-8 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo radio w/CD player(after market) and leather seat inserts. It starts easily, runs and drives well. Clutch has good pressure, transmission shifts as it should between gears and brakes work well. Tires have good tread on them but, I cant tell you how old they are. They dont appear to have any dry rot from sitting. It is a good looking car, paint has plenty of shine, no visible rust on body of car. This car has always resided in Colorados dry climate so, it has faired quite well over the past 36 years. If you are into collecting 928s, you may want to consider this one. It needs mostly minor stuff, mostly just need to be driven. Please take a close look at the many pictures in have posted.
