** 1965 FORD MUSTANG COUPE ** BOUGHT AND BUILT OVER A DECADE AGO BY ITS CURRENT OWNER, THIS BEAUTIFUL MUSTANG COUPE IS A TURN KEY CAR READY FOR CAR SHOWS AND CRUISE NIGHTS !! CAR WAS PAINTED A FEW YEARS AGO ( VINTAGE BURGANDY )AND SHOWS TO BE VERY NICE DRIVER QUALITY, OUTSIDE OF FEW MINOR CHIPS. COULD USE A GOOD WETSAND/BUFF TO BRING THE PAINT TO SHOW QUALITY. VERY NICE GLASS. TRIM AND BRIGHTWORK ARE DECENT , BUT DO SHOW SIGNS OF AGE/PITTING. CAR HAS FIBERGLASS HOOD WITH FUNCTIONAL HOOD SCOOP. ALSO ADDED ARE SHELBY STYLE FRONT / REAR VALANCE. MOSTLY NEW INTERIOR- DOOR PANELS ( WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN NICE ) , SHELBY STYLE GAUGE POD WITH WORKING TACH, NEW “RIBLESS” HEADLINER, ACCENT LIGHTING, CARPET, SEAT COVERS…ETC… ALL NEW ELECTRONICS / WIRING. WORKING AUXILIARY GAUGES ( GAS GAUGE TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO REGISTER )…. VERY HEALTHY 347ci V8 BUILT WITH 11:1 PISTONS, SHELBY SPEC CAM, 289 Hi-Po HEADS ARE JUST SOME OF THE SPECS OF THE MOTOR- BUILT WITH GOOD INTERNALS & RELIABILITY…. TO KEEP THINGS COOL AN ALUMINUM RADIATOR WAS ADDED AND NEW PULLEYS TO KEEP THE BELTS IN PLACE. SHELBY SPEC HEADERS FLOW THROUGH 2.5” EXHAUST WITH FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS. RE-BUILT “TOP-LOADER” 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION W/ SCATTERSHEILD AND 11” CLUTCH THAT SENDS THE POWER TO A FORD 9” REAR WITH 3.73 GEARING. TO KEEP THE FRAME FROM TWISTING A SET OF SUB-FRAME CONNECTORS WERE ADDED. ALL NEW FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION. ALL NEW BRAKES ( 11” DRUMS ) AND BRAKE LINES. TO FINISH THE LOOK IS A SET OF NEW “MAGNUM” WHEELS / TIRES. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM !!!
