This is a VERY NICE example of the Beauty and Style of British roadsters in the late 60's !! It is EXTREMELY RARE as only 3,636 TR4A roadsters were built in 1967 !! More than $22,000.00+ was spent on the 5 YEAR - DOCUMENTED BODY OFF THE FRAME restoration that was completed in 2012 !! The body, hood, trunk lid, fenders, doors and frame were professionally soda blasted down to bare metal. The left and right floor pans were also cut out and all new metal pans were welded in. The frame was also professionally powder coated and the trunk pan was rhino-lined to prevent any future rust issues. A picture portfolio of some of the restoration progression will come with this car and several of these pictures are shown below. This Triumph TR4A Roadster is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle that is sound and in GREAT shape. We just purchased this BEAUTY from the retired older Idaho gentleman who was a memeber of the local British car club and bought this TR4A in 2007 with plans of restoring it to drive in club events and take it to the local shows. It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Triumph commission number plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Triumph body number tag and it's - ORIGINAL - Triumph TR4A owners manual all of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this car for the last several days as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL. It has AWESOME power, gets good gas mileage and handles like a slot car, TOO FUN, what's not to like? The previous owner told us that there has been less than 500 miles put on this car since the restoration was completed including a 250+ mile road trip thru the Idaho mountains in which the car drove flawlessly !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come and look this car over for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! This is a QUALITY CAR FOR SURE THAT IS READY TO DRIVE AND SHOW !! At the heart of this British BEAUTY is what appears to be the STRONG !! - ORIGINAL - PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT - 2.1 Liter inline four cylinder motor in it and it is running VERY well indeed. The engine also still retains it's ORIGINAL dual carb intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL dual "SU" carburetors, ORIGINAL dual carb air cleaner housings, ORIGINAL chrome valve cover, electric fuel pump and an updated GM 12-volt electrical system. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style true dual exhaust system !! The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - four speed manual transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! Tobacco Tan Leather and Wood Grain accented interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE Tobacco Tan Leather bucket seats, VERY NICE Black carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Triumph steering wheel, VERY NICE Matching Tobacco Tan Leather door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Real Wood Grain dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE Black Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters and a VERY NICE Saddle Tan Vinyl convertible top. This Triumph TR4A is nicely equipped including factory style hydraulic brakes with upgraded Toyota 4 piston caliper disc brakes up front, working factory power wipers, factory manual choke pull-knob, factory gauge clusters with 120 MPH speedometer and factory tachometer, original dual chrome side view exterior mirrors, good heater and defroster, chrome roll-bar, factory style seat belts, working original British Leyland Am radio, original rear view mirror and factory style back up lights. This British Sports Car is a great running and wonderful looking Roadster. This Triumph TR4A Roadster has sharp looks, good power and good gas mileage as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drivetrain are all in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including the headlights, taillights, front and rear turn signals. All of the ORIGINAL lights and lenses are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in NEW condition !! The Clean - Solid trunk also sports a VERY NICE black carpet liner, full size spare tire and the original jack, lug wrench and knock-off hammer. This Roadster is SHARP !! This ride is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. Looking for a GORGEOUS 1967 Triumph TR4A Roadster and only a VERY NICE - DOCUMENTED BODY OFF THE FRAME RESTORED example will do ? This is it ! Do not let this one get away ! It is EXTREMELY RARE as only 3,636 TR4A roadsters were built in 1967 !! More than $22,000.00+ was spent on the 5 YEAR - DOCUMENTED BODY OFF THE FRAME restoration that was completed in 2012 !! The body, hood, trunk lid, fenders, doors and frame were professionally soda blasted down to bare metal. The left and right floor pans were also cut out and all new metal pans were welded in. The frame was also professionally powder coated and the trunk pan was rhino-lined to prevent any future rust issues. A picture portfolio of some of the restoration progression will come with this car and several of these pictures are shown below. This Triumph TR4A Roadster is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle that is sound and in GREAT shape. We just purchased this BEAUTY from the retired older Idaho gentleman who was a memeber of the local British car club and bought this TR4A in 2007 with plans of restoring it to drive in club events and take it to the local shows. It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Triumph commission number plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Triumph body number tag and it's - ORIGINAL - Triumph TR4A owners manual all of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this car for the last several days as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL. It has AWESOME power, gets good gas mileage and handles like a slot car, TOO FUN, what's not to like? The previous owner told us that there has been less than 500 miles put on this car since the restoration was completed including a 250+ mile road trip thru the Idaho mountains in which the car drove flawlessly !!
