1973 Triumph TR6 with 4 speed non-overdrive transmission. This is a true numbers matching car and comes with a Heritage Certificate proving such. Mechanicals: This car had much work done before I bought it and I did a lot more. Before I got it the car had new brakes front and rear, new springs front and rear, new shocks, new master cylinder, new slave cylinder, new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing plus a new aluminum flywheel. Since I have owned it all tie rod ends, ball joints and U-joints have been replaced, the engine has been completely rebuilt including boring .030 with new pistons, rod and main bearings, new Goodparts GPE2 cam with new lifters, completely rebuilt valve train with new springs and rockers. The head was shaved .100 for a little added compression. Less than 100 miles since rebuild. The clutch and pressure plate were replaced as well as the front transmission seal as the old one was leaking. A header system and complete new exhaust has been added as has a fan in front of the radiator. Electricals: A lot of work was done here getting the electrical's working. All works with the exception of the horn and turn signals. A new turn signal switch has been installed. Interior: The interior was replaced by the previous owner and is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures. Gauges: The car has all correct Smith gauges and all appear to be in proper working order at this time with the exception of the odometer which does not work. Exterior: The car looks nice and was previously repainted with the correct "Sapphire Blue" including clear coat by the previous owner. The paint is driver quality with some small imperfections. All panels are straight with just a couple of small dents on top of the right fender that could be removed using the paintless dent removal system. The front glass and seal has been replaced as have both door glasses. The convertible top is new and a new tonneau cover is also included. There is a separate Hard top included as shown in the pictures. There have been many more items fixed or replaced too numerous to mention. There is no visible rust and if you have additional questions or need a particular picture taken please ask prior to the end of the auction.
