Up for auction is a Gray 2007 Toyota Camry LE sedan with automatic transmission and 4 cylinder engine. This Camry was seized by the Clarendon Hills Police Department following an arrest and has been parked in our impound lot since May 2015. As seen in the photos, this Camry has approximately 53,627 miles on the odometer which is very low for its age. The dark gray exterior is in average condition for a 2007, having the typical dings, scrapes & paint chips etcetera. There is minor side swipe damage on the passenger side mirror, rear door and wheel well. The light gray leather interior looks to be in very good condition. This Camry was being driven when seized, and the driver struck a cement curb in the process. The driver also made a comment of possible frame damage, however we have no personal knowledge of the vehicle's maintenance history or mechanical issues. The vehicle does pull to the right quite noticeably and wobbles when driven. There seems to be something wrong with the steering. The steering is loose and doesn't turn correctly. The steering wheel is off center to the left approximately 1/4 turn when driven in a straight line. When parked, the top of the front driver wheel angles in and the front passenger wheel angles out. Some of the tire treads are worn to the cord. There is also a pulsation when braking. Otherwise, the engine and transmission appear to operate smoothly. This vehicle is currently located at the Clarendon Hills Police Department and will be made available for viewing by interested bidders upon appointment.
