For sale is a 1968 Ford Mustang fastback. This is a real fastback. It has auto transmission and a 351 Cleveland 4 bolt main modified engine. Good looking orange paint job with Shelby Lemans and rocker stripes. It is a very strong runner and a blast to drive. We have only had it a short time and was a quick project due to its great condition. This is an original fastback with a clear title. You can jump in and go, car really needs nothing unless you wanted to upgrade some of the original parts. Many new parts were added as we restored this car to its present condition. These fastbacks are great head turners as they are but orange, with Shelby wheels and striping, you can't not look! ENGINEIt has a built 351 Cleveland big block estimated at 450-500 hp. 292 hydraulic cam, Holley double-pumper, really good closed chamber high horsepower heads, and Holley Strip Dominator intake manifold.engine bay is freshly paintedaluminum radiator and chrome alternatormechanical fuel pump.electronic ignition On Feb-22-16 at 12:54:53 PST, seller added the following information: BODYdrivers quarter and passenger lower quarter have been replaced at some point. doors are solid as well as fenders. decklid is fiberglass Shelby type as are the quarter extensions. car is straight and body panels are in good alignment. hood has bolt on after market scoop and fiberglass chin spoiler was added. no evidence of any major accident history. UNDERCARRIAGEoriginal type suspension in good working order. frame rails and torque boxes are rock solid. floors have been patched but function and look decent. wheel housings are good. trunk is solid and trunk drop-offs have been repaired. has a non-posi 9" rear end WHEELS AND BRAKESwheels are like new Shelby ten spoke type with very nice Goodyear tires 215/70/15 all around. car has front disc and rear drum brakes in good working order. INTERIORdeluxe woodgrain dash panels with custom stained Grant steering wheel. custom in dash tach and aftermarket gauges fitted to accurately give info on the engine.. a lot of money went into motor, you cant rely on 50 year old gauges to tell you what is going on. the car has a fold-down rear seat and all fiberglass back seat pieces have been freshly painted. the front seats are late model Mustang seats. you wont be able to stay in the seat with the original style seats! the headliner has no tears or sagging. the dash pad is new and the dash has been repainted. the stereo works. all interior lighting works. new sun visors window felts, door panels, sill plates. the carpet is nice and car has aftermarket performance shifter. EXTERIORmost of the exterior trim is new or in good condition. the paint is a strong 8 out of 10 with some chipping and touch up done. is a tangerine color, car was originally highland green.Lemans and rocker stripes are new decals. if you're looking for a visible, fast, fastback take a good look at this one. orange, Shelby wheels and striping, you can't not look at this one drive by! this car will get more looks at the car shows than the stock mustang sitting right next to it that's \'s worth twice the money. enough changes have been made to this car over the years that you don't have to treat it like a trailer queen and be afraid to drive it. this is a turn key car, clear title, rust free car. the '67 and '68 fastbacks have continued to increase in value for more than a decade and are not going to stop.
