I am selling my 1974 VW Westfalia Camper. It has the 1800cc , air-cooled, "pancake" motor, with progressive carburetor and 4-speed manual transmission. It starts, runs, drives, steers and stops just fine. It comes with a brand new canvas for the pop-top. The van has some rust in the front floor, bottom of the cab doors and some in the corners. Underneath (sills, rockers, jacking points, end panels) and under the arches is rock-solid, with no sealant, just the original orange paint from the factory in '74....the roof and gutters are also completely rot-free.. It was a daily-driver and offers huge potential as a restoration or just a cool daily-driver bus. These Type 2 Vans are becoming really hard to find, these days, and the values are going up and up and up.....This would make a great ongoing project as well as a reliable, daily-use, Westy.
