I am selling my 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. Unfortunately I don't see me being able to tinker with it anytime soon. Its been sitting for 2 years and its better to have someone else enjoy it rather than it just rotting sitting there! Ok, I parked it after it began to progressively kinda spit and sputter. When it did break out of it, the engine sounded fine With plenty of power as always and it never knocked. It acted like its not getting spark or enough fuel. I have changed the coil packs, ignition module, fuel filter and installed a brand new stainless steel turbo back exhaust hoping it may be a clogged catalytic converter. I also had the spark pluges and wires changed at around 4000 miles before I gave up and parked it. It may just need a new fuel pump, that's the extent of my knowledge. Codes would have told me exactly what is wrong, but I needed money yesterday and cant have it towed to a Mitsubishi dealer to have it read with there ODB1 and adapter. I think a mouse chewed threw the starter wire because it will not currently start. It will also need a new battery and brakes because it has sat, but that is to be expected. The tiny break in the rear end plastic is from me not apply the ebrake enough and it rolled back slowly into my friends truck. Besides that i have had no accidents with the car. The larger dent on the rear quarter panel was do to ediots fighting outside a bar. It could be popped out for the most part. It was my only ticket free place to park where i lived at the time. Its hard to keep anything nice these days! Plus side good body, little rust!!! 18 inch rims are in good shape tires have little wear as well. This car has 300HP Stock and is all wheel drive) ITS TOO MUCH CAR FOR A FIRST SPORTS CAR!! OR FIRST DRIVER!
