I purchased this car from a friend almost 2 yrs ago. He had replaced the radiator 3 months before the tranny went out. (Leaking fluid & trashed it) It sat for close to 3 yrs before I bought it. I have replaced the water pump, alternator, transmission, spark plugs, brakes, lower control arm & tires. Flushed the fuel system & cleaned injectors. This baby ran like it was brand new when I was finished. Unfortunately it has developed a new issue that I don't have time or ability to fix now (health issues) I have been told it is the vanos control solenoid. It stills runs & drives, but after it runs for a couple minutes it kinda sounds like it is dieseling ( that's the best way I know how to describe it) There is also a dent in the drivers door thanks to my wonderful non insured neighbor. Looks easy enough to fix. The first pic was taken last summer right after detailing. It is a little deceiving. It doesn't look that good up close. Just trying to be honest The odometer started pixelating at just over 110000 miles so I bought a repair kit & tried to fix it. It didn't work & now it it is blank. That was only a couple months before I parked it, so I am guessing the mileage to be 112000. So if your are looking a cheap BMW & you know how to work on them, this is for you My reserve is set to a very low $1600 A little bit of work & you could a nice, very fast, well handling cruiser The tires & wheels are worth my reserve price.
