Next for sale is a Two owner 2001 Ford Explorer XLS with 145k miles. I am not sure why car fax would list it with more owners. This SUV was used a courier vehicle to shuffle documents from one campus to the other. The rear seats would lay flat most of the time. The driver's seat was broken and nasty with coke and coffee stains. I replaced it with another used seat in better condition and cleaned the interior front to back.There is wear at the recline handle pictured. It cleaned up nice, showing only the wear you would expect from a used car.New floor mats and brake pedal pad were installed also. The transmission was professionally serviced and flushed and shifts like it should. New transmission fluid and filter and oil change also.New shocks and sway bar links were also installed. The front and rear wipers are new as are the hood and rear hatch struts. We also replace the hood release cable and repaired the rear hatch release. We fixed everything we found that was wrong. We did find a dent, pictured on the inside of the driver's door. It looks like something got closed in the door. It works just fine but I think it could be adjusted. Under the hood is very clean and all is in great working condition. There are no engine lights on or any other issues found. Brakes are solid and stops straight. The tires have lots of tread, but I do not know their age.There are a couple of dings and stains that you would expect to find on a used car. This SUV runs and drives really nice and seats five adults comfortably. I think it reliable and should run out with little or no problems.Winning bidder is expected to pay a non refundable $500.00 deposit within 24 hours via paypal and the balance in five days with certified or cleared funds.
