Land Rover maintenance records clearly show who this person is. Selling AS IS. I have only driven it on and off my trailer, and then up and down the road in front of my house a couple of times. I changeed coolant hoses, put a new thermostat in it, and got the system bled during the last auction. It also has new PVC system hoses and seperator. The GOOD:- 66,507 miles... perhaps the lowest mileage example around?- clean 1 owner (prior to me carfax)-Spent a lot of time in CA, and it shows. Rust free.. including what looks to be the original exhaust.- everything seems to work.- interior is in near perfect condition, i think anyone would be hard pressed to be disappointed.- shifts through the gears and drives nice.- original owners manuals and two keys.- Navigation works great with upgraded 2011 versions of all 50 states and Canada. (seems to be backup copies of CD's)- Workshop manuals on CD.- clear NY title in my name.- No service engine lights or codes. The BAD:- has an undetermined engine rattle/ knock/ tap. It is bearly audible on cold start, then gets more tapping as it warms up and sounds kind of like a diesel to me. BMW has a Technical Service Bulletin that talks about loose wrist pins which cause no long term ill effects. There are many videos on the internet with M62's making the same noise. People say it is vanos, wrist pins, lifters, etc... In any event the noise does not seem to affect engine power or performance - no codes thrown. The original owner drove this up until the new Range Rover they had built to order came in. Then the car sat for a while. I put in 9 quarts of rotella T6 and a new filter which it seemed to quiet it down some. - body has some scratches and dings normal to a city car. Front fender trim piece is cracked and missing a chunk. I tried to capture the good and the bad in the pictures. The car will clean up nice with a thorough detail and buff. Again AS IS, no warranty.
