This 1999 Ford Taurus SE was seized after an arrest by our police department. It was being driven when it was seized. It has been sitting in our impound lot since 2/24/15. The vehicle is in average condition for being 17 years old. The vehicle starts and drives, however it needed to be jumped after sitting for the last 11 months. It is unknown if any of the power accessories, A/C or CD player are functioning. The odometer shows 139,470 miles however it is unknown if that is the actual number on the body/engine. This vehicle is currently located at the Clarendon Hills Police Department and will be made available for viewing by interested bidders upon appointment. Anyone interested in viewing the vehicle MUST first arrange a date/time by calling CHPD at 630-286-5460. We are a Village/Police Department in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
