1970 Ford Mustang Convertible You Are viewing at a very rare/hard to find convertible mustang in great shape overall. This project car has some of its usual older mustang issues but overall its very restorable and will turn out stunning! This Mustang is wearing a very desirable ext. color and int. color. The car is originally a Grabber green convertible equipped with White deluxe interior. As seen on the deluxe marti report this is 1 of 11 Mustangs produced with this set up! Both interior and exterior will need restored but overall you have a great canvas to start with. The Paint on the car is in okay shape, has a lot of small chips in the paint and there has been some repair work done by a previous owner but as seen in the photos it is pretty close to original color. The floor pans in the car are in great solid shape as well as trunk pan. The extent of the rust repair will need done in the rear frame rails. The drivers rear lower quarter will probably need replaced but other than that is a pretty solid car. some surface rust that could be treated with out cutting done. All glass is present in the car and is in great shape, just a few small chips in the windshield, Convertible top trim is present and is in decent shape, the front trim is in great shape. Bumpers will probably need replaced, a lot of pitting and wear taken place. The drivetrain in the car is all original. odometer reads 123k which I believe to be original mileage on the car, The engine is a 302 with power steering and power brakes. The engine fires up and seems to run solid, the 3-speed manual trans shifts fine into all gears. Clutch seems to be pretty solid as well, brake do pump up but are a little spongy, nothing is locked up, it rolls very good, The car will need wenched onto a trailer, car has only ran off gas can supplying gas. Almost to a point to be a driver again. The interior of the car is in acutally great shape, The front bucket seats have no major flaws, the rear seat will need most of the work and replacing, nothing major is missing, needs carpet, small odds and ends, The convertible top will need replaced, the frame is complete and works great, The convertible top motor works fine and puts top up and down. all that is needed is new top skin, this car should have another rare option with a glass rear window. I do have a brand new convertible top boot just out of the box to go with the car. Also I have a set of brand new deluxe white door panels included with the car. Overall the car is in very restorable condition, I have a set of 17 inch Mustang wheels on the car with brand new tires on the car currently and can sell with the car if they are wanted.
