We've been driving this car everyday for work and school and one day this month it starts running rough - lower RPM rough but revs up. Local auto shop ran diagnostics and did compression check on engine and said compression low on two cyclinders 50-60% of normal, other two at 100%. We decided not not repair engine and sell the car as is. If not for this recent engine work the car runs good. Car has been maintained. We purchased it used locally from a guy who had towed behind his RV. The car is maintained and passed Texas vehicle inspection with smog check in June 2015. Known problems with this car: 1. Engine has issues with compression. Runs but rough.2. Outside door handle drivers side does not open door. It needs plastic clamp inside door mech. The one parts dealer in Dallas/Ft. Worth is no help.3. Inside door handle passenger side same problem.4. Radio was stolen in theft. See the photo. It's not that bad except the open space for the radio.5. Front window has crack, 10 inch lower left and stable.6 Canvas top can be removed and be convertible, current top is two years old, is fine as is and was not a problem for us but you may want to put a few stiches in some seams. Good things:1. Exterior.2. Interior.3. Five speed manual transmission two wheel drive.4. Heating/air conditioning and fan.5. Tires are 5 yrs but heavy duty rims and with plenty of tread, car drives and steers well. Call me if with any questions. James 817 371 7078. The car is driveable and has current registration.
