Vehicle Detail
Outstanding Totally Original 1976 CB750 6700 miles. AMAZING original condition untouched bike GREAT for AMCA judged shows. This is not a cleaned up scruffy bike with junky parts replaced with better ones. I have not polished the bike(it did not need it its just that sanitary) or removed the BATES bags and fairing(an easy job relocating the turn signals and the headlight bucket, and fork ears are there) I am leaving that for the next enthusiast. All wiring harness, grips, fork gators, footrest rubbers and soft parts are supple not all dried up, cracked and bleached out. Switchgear is in amazing like new condition, the master cylinder isn't even stained, gauges and dash panel are not bleached out. Spokes are bright, nipples are the goldish color, motor is very very clean. The shocks are perfect& the chrome and brightwork are brilliant. Look closely at pix NONE of the hardware has been turned or is not all galled up. The FRAME/swingarm/hardware shines like new see pix of the lower extremities of the machine. With a little detailing the bike would be OUT OF SIGHT. This Honda has been sitting for several years, I installed a new battery and it fired right up, all electrics work, bike runs drives and shifts but it could use a light carb service and the front brakes are sticking a little. The Left upper pipe has a split on the top you can see in the picture otherwise pipes are EXCELLENT. There are some scratches in the tank & the front fender has a very small dent. I acquired this bike from the son of the original owner, the bike was originally sold in Wisconsin so the Vin number was taken from the Engine (almost all mid/seventies and earlier bikes are like this that were sold at WI dealers. This started because Harleys always had the engine numbers as Vin numbers) I am a vintage motorcycle collector and avid AMCA member, I am trying to describe the motorcycle as honestly as I can. It is also for sale locally you can call me with any additional questions 7088782976.
