This Canadian car had a complete off-frame, authentic restoration long before I purchased it about 20 years ago. Recently all the body parts were stripped to bare metal, all fillers removed and what patch work there was professionally replaced using updated techniques. Body panels were straightened so now there is a minimum of filler anywhere in the car. All exterior parts were painted to match the original restoration color. The painted undercarriage, still in great shape, was thoroughly cleaned and is rust free. The interior has all new upholstery dating back to the original restoration, still in excellent condition. The rubber floor mat has hardened over time and although not worn has several tears in it and could be replaced. Original equipment radio does not work but is complete except for the antenna.The '37 V8 has less than 7,000 miles on it since rebuilding, runs excellent. An electric fuel pump has been inconspicuously installed on the frame rail. The bias ply tires are in excellent shape. The mechanical brakes (first year for floating wedges) stop the coupe as well as juice brakes but without the maintenance issues.The chrome polishes up very nicely as can be seen on the photos. Red pinstripe has been added since photos were taken.The car has lots of flow through air with a front vent, opening windshield and roll down rear window allowing communication with passengers in the rumble seat. This beautifully restored car is gorgeous to look at and fun to drive or show, with lots of zip for country cruising!Vendor will assist buyer in arranging paperwork for export to the USA or other country. Vendor can provide enclosed trailer transport, up to 500 miles at nominal cost if required.
