Vehicle Detail
2007 Triumph Bonneville T100 in good running condition with 12,400 miles (still being ridden to keep the battery charged and gas fresh). This bike gets a ton of compliments and everywhere you go, people will give you the thumbs up. It has never been in a wreck. Scratches on tank and fenders. Light rust on chrome wheels, fork, exhaust manifold and carburetor parts. There is no rust on the engine cover (factory silver powder coat). I tried to take pictures of the scratches on the tank but they don't show up well in the photos well but they are clearly there. The were cause by my jacket zipper when I laid my jacket on top of the tank. The 2007 has a carburetor. Keep in mind carburetors are cold blooded and will need to be warmed up when riding in the cold. This bike is for those who don't mind turning on the fuel and playing with the the choke and adjusting the idle. Once it gets warm, it runs like a champ. If you want fuel injection, look at 2008 and later models. The T100 model has a tachymeter and a center stand. These are expensive after market add-ons for the regular base model Bonneville. The seat is original and has no tears. Some of the chrome parts have white dots or have a haze. The left side mirror plastic coating is cloudy (see picture) but can be easily replaced with an after market mirror, especially if you don't like the mouse ear look. The paint around the mouth of the gas tank fill hole is peeling (typical problem). The spoke wheels has rust dots. The tires and brakes have a lot of life left. The head gasket was replaced because of a leak (common problem). The emissions parts were removed and an air injection removal kit is used. The ECU has been replaced with an after market ECU because the original one failed (common problem). The right dust cap for the front fork is peeling but no fork fluid is leaking. The left dust cap does not have this problem (probably because the right side is more exposed because the way it leans on the kick stand). One of the plastic caps for the handle bar screws fell off. They are plastic so they discolor easily (one turned black). There is a gouge on the foot brake pedal and a scrape and dent (see photo) on the right side exhaust because it was knocked over by vandals, however, no damage was done to the frame or tank. The current pipes are aftermarket peashooters. I will include the original exhaust pipes so you have the option of changing it out. Both footpegs are oem, one is marked Triumph while the other one is plain. Please ask all questions before bidding. I will be as descriptive as possible, and err on the side of emphasizing the defects. This bike is not a garage queen and is covered with blemishes, however, if you look at the bike as a whole, it is very attractive.
