This 1967 bug has been converted into a reverse trike with the rear coming from a Suzuki Katana 1100 Sportbike. Both vehicles had fulfilling lives of the traditional variety. The VW engine required a rebuild/replacement, and the cycle having 12k miles had some cosmetic damages, so they were both off the road awaiting some attention. Together they make the ultimate attention grabber. Underneath, the Suzuki is a fully stock motorcycle which makes for easy servicing. The carburetors have been rebuilt with correctly adjusted floats, synchronization set, and mixtures tuned nicely. All of the electrical components including the high/low beams, signals, horn, and electric starter function excellently after having each of their terminal connections and grounds cleaned. The speedometer is the original from the VW, and it's quite accurate and works well. The tachometer from the cycle came along, and also includes a neutral indicator light. The brakes are linked together so all three wheels have equal stopping power for safety. The chassis doesn't have rust, and is aligned well so it doesn't pull to either side. The shifter has a custom sequential linkage hooked to stock cycle transmission - it shifts exactly like a motorcycle, but hand operated shifting. It should go without saying that there is a new battery and fresh tires. The stock '67 Beetle has 53 Horsepower - this engine packs 136HP!
