1983 Mercedes 300d Turbodiesel Selling my dad's 1983 Mercedes 300d. Car is in fantastic condition inside out. Car is solid and drives like a dream. Car has original paint, some minor imperfections were touched up with touch up paint, dent on bottom drivers door is visible in pictures, drivers side fender had some paint less dent removal done by the corner light and had some touch ups, several dings around the car, but excellent condition for its age. Suspension is tight and car drives straight down the road without any rattles and vibrations. Engine sounds fantastic and transmission shifts great. Interior is clean and everything functions right except for the cruise control, it doesn't work. A/c blows ice cold and heater blows hot, climate control functions properly, radio works like it should. Sunroof slides open and closes without hesitation, central lock works great. Tires have about 90% life left. Dad is selling this car because he is downsizing, this was an extra car. My dad performed the maintenance himself on the car, recent oil changes and all filters, undercarriage is dry and there are no leaks. No previous service records are available. Engine has very minimal blow by . Car must be seen to appreciate. Third party inspection is welcomed and encouraged, at buyers expense. This is a turn key car, mileage will slightly increase as my dad still drives the car on weekends. Car is registered in California. Car is sold as is and where is. No warranty implied.
