Up for auction is a nice 1987 silverado. It has the tbi fuel injected 350 engine and an automatic trans., The engine has been replaced with a later model crate engine by the previous owner. It runs and drives great with no issues or problems. The truck has new flowmaster dual exhaust and it sounds great. It's not real loud but has the mellow muscle car sound. Everything under the hood is in it's place like it came from the factory with the exception of the smog pump, it has been removed. The truck has a nice red paint job that is only a few months old. It has a brilliant shine with no scratches or dents. It was repainted in a GM red color. The body side trim was replaced when the truck was painted and it still looks new. The bumpers and other trim is original but it's all in good shape. All of the glass is in good condition and the windshield was replaced when it was painted. The bedliner was removed to take a picture then replaced. It's a solid southern truck that has never had any rust. On a 1 to 10 I would rate the exterior a solid 8. The interior features the original carmine red/burgundy color. The seat, headliner and dash pad are all new along with the pull straps and covers. The carpet and door panels are original but are in good condition. On a 1 to 10 scale I would give the interior a 7. The truck rides on the original 8" rally wheels with good year tires. The rear tires have less than 200 miles on them and the fronts are around 75% tread. I consider this truck to be a good driver quality truck but it does get a lot of attention at the cruise ins. It runs and drives great and is very dependable. The truck is showing just shy of 88,000 miles, it's in very good shape but I would assume that it's 188000 The truck has a very modest reserve on it and there's no doubt that it will sell. This truck belongs to a good friend of mine who does not use ebay or the internet. I am listing and selling it to help him. He is thinning down his private collection.
