I am selling my 1940 Ford Panel Truck The old panel is in great condition and has very little rust for it's age and would make a great project. It is sitting on a 1970 Chevelle Chassis (Front and Rear clip) It appears to have been engineered, setup and spliced by a professional and welded by a pro. This is not a hack job. The 454 Big Block & tranny that is bolted to the motor mounts are only for mock up and they are not included in the auction. It comes with a 1940 Ford Car hood and fenders that is in great condition. Comes with original step sides / running boards that are in great condition. The suspension is in good condition and is ready to accept your engine / tranny combo. This panel was originally a Folgers Coffee delivery van as can be seen in the original red paint under the Yellow School Bus paint. you can still see where it says "Mountain Grown Coffee" on the sides. The dash frame appears to be original (uncut) and is in good condition. What you see in the photos is what you get. I will include 4 wheels/tires (rollers) so it can be trailers home but they will not be of any significant value. I do not have a title as I did not receive one when I bought the truck. If you come inspect this truck, you'll see that it is in great condition for it's age, the metal is in great shape, it was clipped professionally and the patina looks awesome. Chassis: The hard part is done and all it needs now is the engine/tranny to be bolted in and a firewall & floors. If you think my asking price is too high, make an offer.
