** 1979 CHEVY CAMARO Z28 ** RECENT TRADE WHO’S LAST OWNER ENJOYED IT FOR THE LAST 5-6 YEARS. LAST OWNER BOUGHT IT HOW YOU SEE IT- DECENT DRIVER QUALITY PAINT WITH A COUPLE OF SMALL AREAS OF RUST BEHIND THE FRONT WHEEL WELLS / ROCKERS , SOME PAINT CHIPS ON LOWER VALANCE OF FRONT BUMBER AND A FEW CHIPS HERE & THERE. HAD A LOCAL VENDOR REPAIR SOME MINOR RUST / CHIPS ON THE FRONT BUMPER. DOORS DO SAG A LITTLE WHEN OPENING / CLOSING. FLOORS, FIREWALL AND TRUNK APPEAR TO BE SOLID. INTERIOR IS CLEAN. DASHPAD SHOWS SOME AGE AND LEFTOVER ADHESIVE SPOT. AFTERMARKET T-TOPS DON’T LEAK- I’VE DRIVEN IT PERSONALLY IN A HEAVY RAIN STORM. WORKING GAUGES ( AUX. OIL PRESSURE GAUGE NOT WORKING ? ). LIGHTS , WIPERS, HORN – ALL WORK. AC COMPRESSOR NOT HOOKED UP. MILD 350ci V8 WITH A HEAVY CAM ( NOT SURE OF CAM SPECS ? ). COULD BE ORIGINAL MOTOR, BUT HAVE NOT VERIFIED. MOTOR IS COLD NATURED AND TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO WARM UP… WOULD SUGGEST A GOOD TUNE TO MATCH CORRECT CARB, INTAKE, HEADS WITH CAM… WAS TOLD IT HAS A TURBO 350 AUTOMATIC – SHIFTS NICE AND SMOOTH THROUGH THE GEARS. NOT SURE IF ORIGINAL REAR- BUT IT HAS SOME “GEAR IN IT” … 4.11’S OR HIGHER IS WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE IN THE REAR ? FACTORY TACH AND SPEEDOMETER COULD USE RECALIBRATION- BOTH ARE OFF FROM WHAT THEY SHOULD READ. GOOD BRAKES. GOOD TIRE TREAD.
