The LeBaron name dates back to the early 1920's when the brand was one of the prominent coachbuilders of high-end luxury vehicles and the LeBaron was Chryler's answer to competing luxury car manufacturers like Cadillac and Lincoln, just as it was in the 1920's. The Chrysler LeBaron was a stunning body style in 1979 and still is some 36 years later. We just purchased this LeBaron from the previous Washington State owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for sure !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This Chrysler LeBaron still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Chrysler VIN tag - FACTORY ORIGINAL - left inner fender mounted Chrysler data plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door mounted Chrysler data sticker - FACTORY ORIGINAL - cowl mounted Chrysler data sticker - FACTORY ORIGINAL - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sitckers - ORIGINAL - 1979 Chrysler operating instruction manual - ORIGINAL Chrysler sound system instruction manual and the ORIGINAL - Chrysler consumer information pamphlet, all of which are shown in several pictures below. This BEAUTY is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle and it shows !! I drove this LeBaron for about a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It cruises smoothly and easily in town and also on the freeway at 75+ mph !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look this BEAUTY over and drive this car for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE THAT IS READY TO ENJOY !! At the heart of this LeBaron is what appears to be the STRONG - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Code "G" - 318 CID V8 "Lean Burn" motor in it that is running very well indeed. The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing, ORIGINAL carburetor and the ORIGINAL "Lean Burn" spark control computer, Etc... . Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - "TorqueFlite" - three speed automatic transmission which also functions well. This Chrysler LeBaron is nicely equipped including WORKING FACTORY Air Conditioning that was just professionally serviced, factory power brakes with discs up front, factory power steering, factory power delayed wipers, working factory cruise control, factory tilt steering column, factory rear window defogger, factory front and rear seat belts, good heater and defroster, working original Chrysler AM / FM radio, original chrome driver's side view remote exterior mirror, factory gauge cluster, factory trip odometer, original day / night rear view mirror, factory back up lights and the original driver's sun visor mounted engine starting instruction decal. The - GORGEOUS - MOSTLY FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "EW1" - Spinnaker White exterior paint with tan accent stripe is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing other than several small chips and imperfections and is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the video above and 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES BELOW !! This LeBaron is a great runner and a real nice looker. It has great looks and GREAT power as well ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Electroplated exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and VERY NICE ORIGINAL grill and headlight surrounds. Check out the BEAUTIFUL - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! Chrysler LeBaron chrome wheels with stainless steel beauty rings and a set of good whitewall steel belted radial tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this LeBaron and really give it that clean - ORIGINAL - "factory look" !! The Clean - Solid trunk sports the ORIGINAL black carpet liner, a full size whitewall radial spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This LeBaron is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure.
