2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 SLT Standard Cab, Short Bed GREAT WORK TRUCK OR WINTER VEHICLE Good points:-SLT package, has power options, keyless entry, overhead console with trip computer, alloy wheels, cruise control-Starts, runs, drives, and stops great-New exhaust including catalytic converter-Very reliable, starts right up every time-Front suspension parts replaced about 5k miles ago (tie rods, ball joints, cv axles)-All 4 tires have 50% or better tread-4x4 works no problem-Clean title in hand, 2 keys and 2 keyless remotes Problems areas:-Body, see pictures. Has numerous dents and dings all around, was used as a work truck. Worst parts are pictured. Last year did a temporary bondo repair to rear wheel arches to pass state inspection and never got around to properly finishing it off. Otherwise minimal rust around the edges, no holes or major rot. Frame, floors, Cab and body mounts are structurally solid.-Airbag light is on. I don't believe this is a major problem to fix. It came on right after I had the center dash apart to re-install the stock radio to prepare for sale. It has only been on for about a week. I believe I knocked some wire or connector loose. I re-checked the fuses and connections but couldn't determine what the cause is. Truck has never been wrecked in the 5 years I've owned it and light has never come on before. This is probably a simple fix for someone with a scan tool or more time/patience/knowledge that I have to fix the problem.-Passenger side power window does not work-Air Conditioner: Requires an annual recharge to operate. I have done this each spring the 5 years i've owned it. Currently it is not working as is typical after end of summer, most likely just requires recharge I have owned the truck for 5 years and it gets very little use. I had a plow on it for a little while just to do my own driveway. It has never been used for any commercial plowing, maybe only a dozen or so times for my own driveway. Very reliable truck that starts right up every time. I would not hestitate to drive it anywhere. Selling because I bought a Suburban which is more suited to my needs and need this one gone before winter.
