Vehicle Detail
***NO RESERVE over $10,000, highest bidder will win it. Good luck and happy bidding*** 2005 Tiag (Titanium Silver) on black interior BMW E46 M3 with 129xxx miles. Originally was SMG transmission but had it professionally converted to a 6 speed last year. Background information: Have owned it for a little over 2 years. 5 months into my ownership the SMG pump failed. After searching for 2 months, I found a local performance shop who did 6 speed manual transmission for me. Conversion was not cheap, almost $4,600 in total expenses. Specifics:Premium PackageBlack leather with heated seats/memory.Xenon headlightsPowered sunroofheated side mirrorsRain sensorsHarmon Kardon with AUX addedBrush Aluminum TrimWeathertech front floor matsParking sensors (programmed off during swap, always annoyed me parking in the city)Euro tinted, convex blind spot side mirrorsStaggered 19'' Miro wheels with fresh tires all around (245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear), less than 4,000 miles on them.Stoptech rotors and OEM pads front. Rears were replaced with oem blanks and pads last year.20% Ceramic window tint all around (slight tear on the driver's seat at the bottom, can hardly tell)OE muffler with custom 83mm LeMans tips8k headlights, crisp white with a hint of blue.straight pipe section 2.French'd out yellow highbeamsEbay rear cf diffuserRear sub frame inspection done at the shop, no tears.Other maintenance done during my ownership:Tensioner replacement, cpv valve, spark plugs, oil pan gasket, Power steering fluid replacement, using oem parts only. Valve adjustment, transmission fluid, differential fluid replacement, control arms with bushings (Driver's side is new, passenger side was replaced with a lightly used one but good bushings/ball joints, needed them bad, and could only get a new one for the driver's side, passenger side had to be ordered used due to a time crunch and passenger side not being in stock). Xenon ballasts and igniters replaced last year. New Autocraft GOLD battery replaced today. Defects/things to point out:Mechanically it pulls and groans like a healthy E46 M3 should. I do daily drive it still with no issues. Still get a lot of compliments on it and have enjoyed driving it daily. 1. Steering coupler groans a little during tight turns. Common issue. Never got around to replace it. About a $50 part + less than an hour of labor.2. Sometimes during colder months the CEL light will come for code P0420, there was a recall for this before from BMW, it got solved by getting the DME updated at the dealership. The code went away and came back a little over a year later. If you erase it, it goes away for a long time before coming back. I've been able to pass smog/testing/emissions during that period with no issues. 3. Rear bumper has spider cracks, and some scratches/nicks. Noticeable from 10 feet or closer. The quarter panel has a rust bubble forming and there's some door dings. It's not perfect on the outside but still looks great when washed up. ***Sold as is- I've done the best to explain any flaws/issues with the vehicle. It's priced at a more than fair value. In mint cosmetic condition, this is your $15,000 M3. I've priced it below and have realistic expectations due to it's overall condition. It's still a very good M3. Happy bidding, and good luck!***
