We just purchased this Buick from the previous local Idaho owner and shortly after that it was involved in a high speed rear-end collision. It was totalled by the insurance company and rather than parting the vehicle out we are offering it as a complete, running and driving vehicle with a clear Idaho title. Prior to the accident this 1953 Buick Special was a GORGEOUS example of the styling of the early 50's. It was bought BRAND NEW at Fladeboe Buick Company in Willmar, Minnesota on March 15, 1954. The previous owner told us the mileage showing on the odometer of 64,841 is the ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles since the car was brand new, but we don't have any way of proving it. This Buick Special Deluxe still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correcty mounted Buick cowl mounted data plate, FACTORY ORIGINAL - A-pillar mounted Buick VIN tag, - ORIGINAL -1953 Buick owner's guide, - ORIGINAL - Buick owner's service policy pamphlet, - ORIGINAL - Buick "Weatherwarden" climate control booklet, - ORIGINAL - Buick owner's ID card and the - ORIGINAL - Buick Delco battery service policy pamphlet, all of which are shown in several pictures below. At the heart of this 1953 Buick Special is the STRONG - FACTORY ORIGINAL - 265 CID "Fireball" Inline 8 Cylinder Motor that is running very well indeed. The motor still retains it's ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL valve cover, ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL 2 barrel carburetor. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - "Twin Turbine Dynaflow" - automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL Gray and Tan Cloth and Black Vinyl Special Deluxe interior is in NICE condition with a NICE Gray Cloth front bench seat that broke off the driver's side seat mount during the accident, NICE ORIGINAL Matching Back Vinyl and Gray Cloth door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Buick steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Tan Cloth headliner, Good ORIGINAL Black rubber floor mats with a couple small cracks, NICE ORIGINAL Tan Cloth sun visors, VERY NICE Gray Cloth rear bench seat and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Tyler Blue and Black dash. This '53 Buick came nicely equipped from the factory including factory wing windows, working factory gauge clusters with a 110 MPH speedometer, working factory power wipers, working factory dome light, good heater and defroster, original Buick "Sonomatic" AM transistor radio which is no longer working and the factory roof-mounted antenna. This '53 Buick Special Deluxe still runs and drives very well considering the damage it sustained. The brakes, suspension and drive line all seems to still be in good working order as well as the electrical system. This '53 Buick Special Deluxe would be a great investment opportunity for someone who needs a mostly complete parts car or wanting a winter project and it is priced right! Most of the chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are still VERY NICE condition (with the exception of the rear end damage) including a VERY NICE Chrome front bumper, VERY NICE RARE Chrome girll bars, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Stainless Steel body and window trim, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Stainless Steel headlight surrounds and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL "Spear" hood ornament. All of the Front and Side Chrome and Stainless Steel brightwork on this Buick is still in NEAR SHOW condition !! Take a look at this 1953 Buick Special Deluxe Tourback Sedan !! We just purchased this Buick from the previous local Idaho owner and shortly after that it was involved in a high speed rear-end collision. It was totalled by the insurance company and rather than parting the vehicle out we are offering it as a complete, running and driving vehicle with a clear Idaho title. Prior to the accident this 1953 Buick Special was a GORGEOUS example of the styling of the early 50's. It was bought BRAND NEW at Fladeboe Buick Company in Willmar, Minnesota on March 15, 1954. The previous owner told us the mileage showing on the odometer of 64,841 is the ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles since the car was brand new, but we don't have any way of proving it. This Buick Special Deluxe still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correcty mounted Buick cowl mounted data plate, FACTORY ORIGINAL - A-pillar mounted Buick VIN tag, - ORIGINAL -1953 Buick owner's guide, - ORIGINAL - Buick owner's service policy pamphlet, - ORIGINAL - Buick "Weatherwarden" climate control booklet, - ORIGINAL - Buick owner's ID card and the - ORIGINAL - Buick Delco battery service policy pamphlet, all of which are shown in several pictures below.

At the heart of this 1953 Buick Special is the STRONG - FACTORY ORIGINAL - 265 CID "Fireball" Inline 8 Cylinder Motor that is running very well indeed. The motor still retains it's ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL valve cover, ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL 2 barrel carburetor. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - "Twin Turbine Dynaflow" - automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL Gray and Tan Cloth and Black Vinyl Special Deluxe interior is in NICE condition with a NICE Gray Cloth front bench seat that broke off the driver's side seat mount during the accident, NICE ORIGINAL Matching Back Vinyl and Gray Cloth door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Buick steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Tan Cloth headliner, Good ORIGINAL Black rubber floor mats with a couple small cracks, NICE ORIGINAL Tan Cloth sun visors, VERY NICE Gray Cloth rear bench seat and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Tyler Blue and Black dash. This '53 Buick came nicely equipped from the factory including factory wing windows, working factory gauge clusters with a 110 MPH speedometer, working factory power wipers, working factory dome light, good heater and defroster, original Buick "Sonomatic" AM transistor radio which is no longer working and the factory roof-mounted antenna. This '53 Buick Special Deluxe still runs and drives very well considering the damage it sustained. The brakes, suspension and drive line all seems to still be in good working order as well as the electrical system.
