This is a Solid 1957 Chevy Belair 4-DoorFully restored in 2004 * Original well maintained 283 V8 that starts well and runs strong. Dual exhaust with sweet mellow sound. * Original GM Automatic transmission. Performs well. Original rear end and chassis with newer shocks etc. * Starts, runs, brakes and drives well. * Body panels fit well and all 4 doors open and shut beautifully. All glass is excellent and windows roll up and down with ease. Odometer shows 17,000 miles but we believe it to be 117,000. However the car has been restored and maintained over the years. Many photos and receipts to support. * Interior has been completely redone. Nicely upholstered seats and door panels in addition to the headliner were done by a professional shop. Dash shows very well. Everything works except the horn and the clock. We are having the horn repaired this week. Dash looks beautiful and all gauges work properly. * Tires are in excellent condition, are radials, and show very little wear. *Paint. This was originally a factory 'red' car with a white top. It was painted burgundy with a light gray top, for personal preference. We have several photos of the original car prior to restoration to support not only the originalcolor, but to show it was and excellent, solid car to start with. This is not a show car. It is not perfect. But it would make someone a nice cruiser that could be enjoyed as it is, without spending a bunch of money. 57 Chevys are one of the hottest collectibles around. 4 doors are becoming more popular, and make enjoying a 57 much more affordable! The original owner passed away, and his daughter, a friend, has asked me to sell it for her.
