Up for auction is a VERY original non molested survivor that I have lightly used over the last 5 years with no breakdowns so its kind of hard to let this one go. The bike has many strong points that I would like to point out: The gas tank and oil tank have fresh professionally done paint, that looks very good in person.The motor has never been apart and runs perfectly with the original oil injection pump still operational, it always starts first kick or 2 or 3 kicks if its been sitting. The motor doesn't leak oil, or gas from the carb or petcock, the clutch doesn't slip or surge when releasing, the gear box never pops out of gear and shifts better than some of my new bikes with very useable gearing that will let you go down the freeway if needed. When I bought the bike it had a deep purple custom paint job with pin striping indicating that it was someones pride and joy and used on the street only. The value of this bike is in its originality and it has never been taken apart and runs as new. The bike still has the original Suzuki grips, original handlebars, original un-dented skid plate, un-dented gauges that work perfectly, undamaged exhaust with a perfect heat shield. The rims are true and dent free, with lots of tread on the tires. The seat cover and foam are new with the pan sand blasted and repainted. I just installed a brand new RK o-ring chain and the original sprockets are excellent.All the lights work and the wiring harness is unmolested with unique 69 only taillight and flat bottom headlight.The oil has recently been changed and the Suzuki oem air filter is new with the closure tabs on the top of the air box damage free. This bike is a 1969 and does have a few items that could use attention: The fork seals and fluid need to replaced, the fork sliders are rust free and have no gouges that keep the seals from sealing they are just original seals. I have NOS (new old stock) suzuki fork seals that are included with BMW synthetic fork oil that I bought to do this work but I just haven't had the time to do this even though it's easy.The front brake lever tip is broken but a new lever is easily sourced from Paul Miller who knows these bikes and is a great source for reasonably priced parts.The finishes are from 1969 and would need to be redone if this were to become a show bike. I have many classic bikes that are mostly 100 point show bikes and I just didn't want to tear into this bike as it really is a great ridable survivor! Even the stock Suzuki handle grips and bars are not ripped or bent. Bike is sold with a Bill of Sale and a clear California DMV title report Feel free to ask questions as Im sure I forgot something.
