Vehicle Detail

Clear Texas title in my name. New parts include: Painless wiring (professionally installed), Disc front brakes, Battery, Radiator, Water pump, Gas tank, Carburetor, Plugs and wires, Valve covers, Tachometer. Polished American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels with M/T Tires. Truck cab is very solid with only minimal rust through at bottom of cab behind passenger front fender. Bed is solid with only pitting at lower edge at front of box. Original wood is shot. Was an older semi-custom build with shag carpet, custom gauges and switches, and a 56 tank added for dual tanks. Only the stock 53 tank is used currently. Runs and drives good, Manual steering and manual brakes so it takes a little muscle. Everything works except for the horn and gas gauge. Horn was functional until I put the aftermarket steering wheel on. Can easily be hooked back up. Tank has new sending unit so I'm not sure what's up there. Heater fan works but hoses not hooked up to core. 351 Cleveland starts and runs great. CASTING NUMBER: D2AE-CA. ALSO HAS "Cf" FOUNDRY MARK. SEE PICTURES. No strange noises or smoke. Clutch has good engagement. Tranny is smooth shifting with no grinding or popping out of gear. Drips a few drops after driving but not a huge leak. Rear end is stock and geared very low. First gear is a stump puller! Second and third are excellent for cruising though so you can get on the highway if needed. Just don't expect great mileage. Overall a solid truck ready to be driven and enjoyed or taken to the next level. Note: Truck does not have a radio or seatbelts. Two things I would consider adding if you want to drive it often! Also, the hood hinges are kind of worn out and need replacement or adjustment. Windows do crank up and down but need "assistance" from time to time. Buyer responsible for shipping. Deposit due within 24 hours of auction close and is non-refundable. Balance due within 7 days of auction close.
