First yr R65 with all the goodies....luftmeister fairing with lowers for foul weather riding enjoyment, extends your riding season spring and fall. Bike has Krauser star bags (the big brother to the starlet bags I've used for over 35 yrs now on my R60/5), Reynolds ride-off stand and luggage rack. Mufflers are in great shape. Tank has 1 small ding on side and fenders are very good shape. This is an original paint, unmolested bike. New battery this year and fresh oil and filter and sump was cleaned out and nothing scary found in pan. Starts and run good, like a bmw should. Front tire still had nubs, rear could use replaced. Everything electrical works as it should except the clock and I'm not sure if it's just unhooked to save the battery or...? The early r65's have a smaller frame better suited for shorter riders and women and they handle great!! this bike is ready for more smiles from the new owner. If my girlfriend was interested in it I'd be keeping it as it's a good mate for the r60/5 . Fall is just around the corner and what better way to stay warm and dry behind the excellent coverage provided by this full fairing and ride until the ice and white stuff force us off the roads.
