1968 Daily driver Project car.. Car was from California, purchased in 2006.Bought it to work on with my son, he's away in college now, I'm divorced must sell (she gets half) Replaced may mechanical pieces:New Radiator New hosesNew alternatorNew fuel pumpNew beltsReplaced points with breaker-less ignitionNew valve coversNew air filterReplaced front drum brakes with power assist disc brakesNew exhaust system, shorty headers, all stainless 2 1/2" exhaust pipes with cross-over pipeNew rear brakes and drumsNew suspension kit (front springs, shocks and powder coated sway bar installed, rear leaf springs, shocks and powder coated sway bar needs to be installed)New tires and wheels (2 P215/65R15, 2 P235/60R15 will be mounted on car after sale)Body needs some TLC, I have no body work expertise, paint is fair, some chips and scratches from wear. A little bubbling under the vinyl top (see photo) Interior is ok, some tears in front buckets and chips in dashboard, no radio or speakers.small water leak I think is from windshield, have new windshield gasket will go with car. There are a few spare parts that will go with car also.I have tried to take photos that represent present condition of car. I would encourage a vehicle inspection prior to bidding.The seller said the engine is a 302, the Vin calls out 289.
