This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION 2011 BMW 335d Black Exterior and Interior. Runs, drive, handles, brakes great! New OEM windshield installed this month. There are some minor scratches and scuffs that are expected with this mileage. No accidents, clear history. No Navigation System to create problems with the electronics. I am selling because we needed a bigger car so we bought the X5 diesel. The Engine Light is on. I had the vehicle taken to an independent/non-dealer BMW shop and they read fault code 4D32 which is "Reducing Agent Active Tank Temperature Sensor". As was explained to me, there is a temperature sensor in the urea tank (Diesel Exhaust Fluid Reservoir) that monitors how much urea to use to treat the exhaust gas. I was quoted $1500 to repair or for a DIY here is an option for $500 http://xemodex.com/us/product/scr-container-urea-tank-repair-return-for-bmw/. If you can just replace the sensor I am sure that it will be a fraction of that amount. This has created no issues at all (no smoke) with the vehicle and will not cause any future issues, it only impacts the exhaust pollutants being emitted. This should not be a problem in states where no emissions testing for diesel are required. For those states that follow CA emissions testing for diesels I do not know for certain.
