2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 - 49k Miles - Good Condition About The Magnum SRT8 (scroll down for lots of pics) If you don't know what you're looking at here you're missing out. Dodge made the Magnum wagon in SRT8 trim which includes the 6.1L Hemi motor with 425hp, SRT8 Sport Suspension, Brembo brakes and a host of other go fast goodies. Go do some Googling and come back if you've never heard of it, it's an incredible machine. For those of you that do know. This is a 2006 model, with 49k original miles. Finished in Brillian black pearl clearcoat with a black/gray interior. I've owned this car about a year but we're purchasing a new home next year so my toys must go to help with the down payment. I'm going to list as much as I can remember about this car but if you have questions/comments/concerns or just want to come out and take a look please email me and I will send you my phone number. I just don't want to post it out here for the world to see. About this Magnum SRT8 Purchased from another owner at 42k I've put about 7k miles on this car since I've owned it. It's been a "toy" so it's not driven often. The previous owner made some cosmetic changes which make this car a real head turner. I can't go anywhere driving this thing without getting 10 compliments. Everyone from 7 year old kids to 80 year old gradma's break their neck trying to catch a peek at it as I drive by. It's actually kind of funny to see. So on the exterior all the trim mouldings have been removed. The rear wiper has been removed/shaved to give the back end that clean look. All the chrome has been removed all around. The brembo calipers have been painted HEMI orange to match the HEMI orange digital camo treatment under the hood (see the pics). Then a tru-fiber carbon fiber "ram air" hood was added. It not only looks totally badass it's functional as it routes cold air traveling over the hood directly to the K&N Cold air filter kit. Provides for a nice horsepower boost and helps the engine cool between pedal stomps. Did I mention it looks totally badass too? No? Well it does. I'm also including a DiabloSport Predator tuner. Currently I'm running the 91 Octane tune using 93 Octane gas (just to be safe). The Predator tuner gives you a little more umph and stiffens up the gear changes a little when you've got the go pedal mashed into the carpets. The factory navigation system was removed and Kenwood deck was installed. It has all the bells and whistles including bluetooth, Pandora, backup camera, the works. The system sounds pretty good as is but my 16 year old self wishes it had a little more bass. Very clear though. So to recap. There is a K&N Cold Air Intake (just cleaned and re-oiled), All chrome shaved, Predator Tuner, And Engine bay and brake calipers painted HEMI orange. Go ahead and scroll down and take a look at the pics, I think I remember something about how badass it looks.... So what about them there mechanicals? Mechanically it runs very good. No lights, no smoking, heck it doesn't even burn any oil between changes. There is a "V.E.S" message on the EVIC (the little screen in between the gauges). This stands for "Vehicle Entertainment System" which is from the aftermarket stereo being installed. It's not really a problem though, but I thought I'd mention it. Everything on the car works flawlessly - power windows, sunroof, heated seats, all the buttons, switches, knobs and features all work perfectly. So here's some things that have been fixed/replaced/repaired in the last few years 41k miles - New battery installed 42k miles - All new brake pads and rotors installed. I installed centric slotted rotors and carbon ceramic pads. This thing stops fast! 42k miles - Installed new headlights and tail lights (The old ones were starting to yellow) 44k miles - Installed 4 brand new Goodyear Eagle Sport High Performance All season tires. They have incredible grip and a very stiff sidewall so they corner excellent. Installed a factory staggered setup. 255/45 rear, 245/45 front. 46k miles - Installed new KYB struts on the front, as well as new strut mounts (top and bottom). Also replaced the sway bar bushings. The car rides smooth and quiet now. Had other suspension parts checked at the same time and my mechanic said they were A-OK. 48k miles - Replaced thermostat, alternator, and MAP sensor So mechanically this thing is ready to drive! New brakes and tires mean you won't have to put any money into this bad boy before you start ripping smoky burnouts down your street. Just slap it in drive and punch it. During my ownership I only used Mobile 1 synthetic and Mopar OEM filter. You have about 3500 miles before it needs another oil change. Cosmetics, does she look as good as she runs? The paint is in good shape. I mean its all there, there's none missing but it is a black car that's almost 10 years old so it's got some swirls and such. A good detailer with knowledge of paint correction could make her look new again. I'd say the exterior is a 8/10. Just needs a little love. I will have the car professionally washed, polished and waxed for the new buyer though so it will look fantastic unless your friends get out their microscopes..... The interior is in fantastic shape. I've seen a few of these over the years and the seats are usually torn up and the dash board vents are broken. Not the case here. No rips, no tears, no stains, no cigarette burns. The headliner doesn't sag (common problem). Its clean. There is some wear on the drivers side bolster but the bolster is not worn out. A little re-dying of the leather and it'll look new again. The microfiber/suede seat inserts are all in good shape. Now with that said the interior defroster grille (up near the front window) is cracked. It's a $200 part here in eBay and easy to replace (pop out the old one, pop in the new one). It never really bothered me that much so I never did it. Also there is a piece of weather strip where the roof meets the hatch back that is sagging/torn. It's a $60 part here on ebay and super easy to remove and replace I just never got around to it. Other than that this thing is a looker, expect to spend extra time at every gas station stopping and talking to people about it. You think I'm joking but go ahead and click buy it now and you'll see what I mean. About the sale I do not finance. I can not arrange financing for you. Please bring your own financing. I'm not a bank so this is a cash/wire transfer thing only. If you want to write a personal check expect to wait about 5 business days for it to clear, same goes if you bring a bank check. Sorry with so much fraud/counterfeiting and scamming going on out there I can't risk it. Next I have a clear Texas title in hand ready to go. No liens, no funny business. This car is being sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. It's coming up on 10 years old so don't expect a new car please If you're in the area and want to come by and see the car in person then c'mon! I'm located 10 minutes north-east of Denton, TX. Send me an email and I'll give you some more exact directions. Please note that I will not drive the car to meet you. It's not fair to the new buyer to put a bunch of miles on it. So if you want to check it out you gotta come to me. Lastly. If you want me to ship it I will be happy to do whatever I can but you have to make arrangements. I will be glad to meet the driver at his convienence as well as help him load it on the truck but you have to call the trucking company and make them show up at my house. I've used uship.com in the past and they've always been a great place to find a reputable vehicle shipper. Pics DON'T MISS THIS - MAKE ME AN OFFER TODAY
