I bought this truck with 220k miles because I wanted something to pull my boat. After about 3 months of owning it, the engine went out. I replaced the engine (to a tune of just over $10,000) and after I put so much money into it I decided why stop there? Call it a restoration on a late model truck, but I have nearly $28k in this beast and fixed just about every darn thing on it. I know I'm not going to get my money back, but if you're considering a good old diesel truck take a look at this. Sure, it might be a little more expensive than the other stuff on this site and others, but I have literally replaced or fixed almost anything that could break. Don't do what I did and buy something else from a dealer when you know they aren't being 100% honest with you and are hiding all the standard flaws. I'm a southern boy and will be honest with you regarding anything you want to know. If you want pictures of anything on the truck, just ask me and I'll do my best to provide them in a timely manner. If you're near the Woodlands, Texas, swing by and come look at it for yourself. Its a gorgeous rig.... now. I wrote a bunch of this in the seller's description but here are the new parts (in the last 5,000 miles) Engine - rebuilt and professionally installed 5.9l cummins -- this should last you another 300,000 miles. (1 year left on warranty, maybe a little less -- parts and labor at Huffman's Diesel in Belton, TX (top notch shop))Transmission - was taken out and professionally overhauled by Cottman Transmissions (carries a 3 year warranty that you can have serviced at any Cottman location if you experience issues)6 New Mud Tires -- 37" mud tires that still don't sound super loud on the highway. Literally new tires.Front Drive shaft - was missing when I bought the truck. Has a new one now.Front and Rear Axles - both drained, inspected, refilled. 3.73 in the rear so you can tow and still get decent mpg on the highwayPaint - The cab had been repainted previously, but not the bed. They were two different colors when I bought the truck. The entire truckbed was done - dents taken out of fenders, new tailgate, all repainted. Paint match is exceptional - can't tell the difference between cab and bed (even from up close).Minor stuff that you won't find on other trucks because people don't take care of there stuff: New wipers, tint on front windows, new Viper alarm system and power door locks, new speakers (old ones were shot).I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of stuff, but that's enough to give you an idea. No cracks in windshield, hairline crack in dash next to a vent but isn't noticeable (literally the width of a hair). No holes in seats or carpet. Steering is pretty good for a big lifted truck. I have a new Pitman arm that isn't installed, but I'll give to the auction winner. I also think the driver's front shock should be replaced when that work is done, but its ok now. Again, I have all receipts (as I am already at my image limit if you want any additional pictures of the receipts from work performed (engine, tranny, paint or whatever) or the frame (or anything else that isn't pictured in the auction, just send me a message and I'll get them to you. I have all of the receipts in a file and I assure you the frame has no rust (Texas truck). Clean title in my name. Serious about selling it, but not giving it away.
