Up for auction with no reserve is a very rare and lovely classic 1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D Sedan. This vintage saloon is part of the most successful production of executive cars by Mercedes-Benz, the W123 model. Purchased new in San Jose, California this 240D has always been located on the west coast and migrated over to Arizona several years ago. She has a super dry body throughout and looks to have most of her original paint still intact. Her exterior is Manila Beige with perforated Light Cognac Brown vinyl upholstery. All of her bright work is super clean as well her chrome bumpers and front grill plus emblems. The 240D was a diesel sedan that could be driven forever and with just over two hundred plus thousand miles she still drives like a champ. This very reliable source of transportation can be used regularly and without hesitation. She is not brand new but has held up very well over the years and miles. This 240D was the deluxe model and came equipped with her 2.4 Liter Inline Four Cylinder Diesel Motor, 4-Speed Automatic Transmission, Air-Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Webasto Power Sliding Sunroof, Polished Chrome Benz Wheels, Passenger Side Mirror, Rear Defrost and more. She comes with her original paperwork since new including factory owner's manual, service passport with stamps and some receipts from recent work done as well. The list of odds and ends that need to be finished is very small and she is not a project by any means. All her power windows work but the sunroof needs a little help to be opened and closed.
