1969 FORD F-250 RANGER CAMPER SPECIAL ORIGINAL, GRANDPAS TRUCK!!!! This 1969 is hard to find, with AC and power steering, I know it don't look like much but please pay attention to all the original details on it, Like all the chrome molding, ranger, 390, camper special emblems, Very expensive to replace! Orig. truck mate bumpers, side rails, very hard to find AIR CONDITIONING, that was work on and was working a year ago, was told it was ice cold, probably just a leak in the system. Very straight body, no dents, Virtually rust free body, California truck! All the under carriage is great as you can see, All I would do is touch up some of the blue paint, the white paint still looks good, nice patina on roof, I would just primer out the bed! that's it! The interior just needs a new custom fit seat cover, and custom fit rubber mat, all can be bought on LMC TRUCK. com, a well known online truck store. Truck runs good for it being a 1969, it has a newer 390 V8, not sure when it was installed, I have driven it at highway speeds. It starts up easy, Runs good, no noises, automatic tranny shifts in all gears, all gauges work, temperature stays cool, the carburetor was recently worked on. Brakes work ok, truck stops fine, good tread on back tires, not so good on fronts, truck drives straight, Power steering works good. All windows roll up and down fine, locks work fine, doors open & close fine, heater works, fan sometimes doesn't, could be just a lose connection. So there you have a good example of a hard to find camper special that's not gonna take much to look good! A great candidate to restore or do a little work and enjoy as it is.
