1968 Ford Galaxie 500 powered by a 429 w/ a FMX tranny. Engine has about 2000 miles on the rebuild a couple years ago. engine runs awesome starts very easy and doesn't smoke or use any oil. air ride was just recently added. The interior seats are from a 86 grand marquise and the back seats are in great condition but the front needs new seat covers. carpet is new, and the tires have about the same as engine maybe couple hundred more , had 302 before installing the new engine. The dash is a universal digital set up that is bolted directly in the old dash place. the air ride was bought as a kit and it has slammer bags on all four corners with a 220 psi compressor and a 10 gallon tank. the car is a fun car to drive, is a head turner but there is still a lot of room for some improvements and special touches like headliner, or some aftermarket headlights. Car is not a restored car just sanded with 400 grit and sprayed with black epoxy primer so won't fade as easy b/c has a hardener in it. I had two of these at one time so will have some extras I saved from the other car that will come with it. Car needs someone who has some time in the evening to go slow cruising and enjoy the ride. Was going to make into a mad max car but decided better sell before the vision becomes reality. The outside pics make it look shiney but it is just water on the car. Will spray hood with sealant so won't rust because it has a lot of bare metal, also will put hood back on car if car is bought..Things it needs or needs done Headliner (I have the bows), hood body work done and primed, front seat covers, and brakes messed with(has a new booster, master cylinder, front and rear brake hoses, and pads) stops ok just won't lock them up. all weatherstrippingplease don't hesitate to ask any q's any timeThis car will drive as far as you want to drive it., if you air the bags up all way and turn everything off it takes about 3-4 hours for it to drop back down to ground, but you can still drive just not turn very good in case something catastrophic would happen to air ride system. Don't get me wrong you will feel and hear ever bump with no air in system but as far as driving you will constantly be playing with it while driving, that's the fun in having bags. just to see some peoples faces when you drop going down road is priceless. Also have the front and rear springs so if you not a air ride fan it can be returned back to stock within less than a couple hours.
