1972 Triumph Bonneville

This bike has a reconstructed title from the state of Minnesota, the frame was rebuilt and during that process the original VIN was not saved, so Minnesota issued it a new VIN. It is a 1972 650 motor in a rigid 1968 frame, I have all of the paper work to prove this. The engine was gone through, it was bored .020 over with new pistons, rings, cams and all new seals, it is an original 5 speed transmission which it kind of rare for this year as it was the first year of the five speeds. The bike has new tires, all new paint on the frame, and new paint on the tank, oil tank and fender, it has an original bates seat which was recovered. It has been switched over to 12 VDC negative ground, and electronic solid state ignition. However the bike does need a new stator as it does not charge.
