Vehicle Detail

If you are looking for a classic jeep, than you will really enjoy this one. This is a 1986 Jeep CJ-7, the last year they built the CJ, before changing the design. Has the rare DANA 44 solid axle rear. This jeep is practically new. The previous owner towed it behind his motor home in Arizona so it is completely rust free, When I purchased it it had a hard top so the interior is like new. The hard top and hard doors come with the vehicle. The soft top is the original WHITCO in GARNET and was in the original AMC box with paper, hardware and instructions. I like the soft top so I installed it. The paint is new because the paint was chipped from being towed and it was a bit dull. The paint is flawless and must been seen. I was hard to take photos of the paint because it shines so much it picks up so many reflections that look like dents. The vehicle was rust free and never in an accident. The chrome wheels, bumper and grill guard are flawless. All Gauges, lights, motors and switches work as intended. No after market parts or splices in wiring. The seats are like new and do not have any separated or worn seams or fading. The dash pad is like new with no fading or cracks. I drive my family around in the jeep so before they even step in, I had all the brakes completely replaced with high quality original Bendix brake components. The engine was rebuilt and completely replaced all major components. It is not worth it for me to break down or have any problems so I replaced many of the components. This vehicle will not leak in your garage, driveway or worse your friends driveway because all seals and gaskets were replaced on the differentials, engine, transfer case and transmission. All gaskets have been replaced on the engine when it was rebuilt. All rubber bushings, belts have been replaced and rubber fuel hoses from the tank to the engine. A 30 year old jeep with original components will need all rubber replaced because they will fail at some point and risk being stranded worse .....not worth the risk so I just had it all done one winter. Here is a partial list Mechanicals Rebuilt engine, all new gaskets, hoses, thermostat, filters, belts, wires, rotor, All brake rotors, calipers, hoses, master cylinder, drums, liningAll new tiresNew Optima batteryNew AlternatorNew thermostatNew Clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plateNew Master Brake cylinder and slave cylinder (HYDRAULIC CLUTCH instead of hard Linkage)All new fluids (Lucus oil and Royal purple) New Timken Universal jointsNew Tie rod ends (professionally aligned) This vehicle has the original smog equipment and catalytic converter in place and has not been altered. I am happy to send additional photos or answer questions.
