Up for grabs is this very original, very clean, and very cool 1966 Cadillac De Ville convertible! You are looking at a mist blue 1966 Cadillac De Ville, part of a private collection. Believed to be a two owner car. This was purchased it several years ago from the son of the original owner and it spent most of its life in Queens, NY. This car is about as original as it gets, aside from a new top and top motor, tires, and exhaust, it is all original. The son reported that the chrome rockers that are on the side were ordered by his dad, and they certainly set the body lines off. This was not a heavily optioned Cadillac; although it has power windows and seats, it does not have air conditioning (for anyone born before the 1960's, it was not uncommon for a convertible to not have air conditioning!).it is powered by a 429 engine with only 75,000 original miles...amazing! Starts easily and drives very smoothly. This is a true time capsule, piece of Americana! No rattles, and for a 49+ year old car, this is as good as it gets! However, it is 49 years old, and as such, it is NOT new, it is unrestored, the clock does not work, the original radio does not work, and there are the expected nics/scratches. Cadillac is stored indoors at all times. All lights are functional, you can hop in and drive to California! Please ask any and all questions before bidding! Clean and clear title included with sale.
