1990 VW Cabrio Selling my mother's 1990 VW Cabrio. We bought the car in 2002 and my mother drove her for about five years with no issues. After that time my mother wanted an automatic and we bought her a 2002 cabrio. The car has sat since then, it was inside for several years but is now outside and deserves a better home. My father, a lifelong mechanic, maintained the car throughout the time my mother drove her. He installed a new top when we purchased it and the top is still in new condition. The interior is in great shape as well. We have all side trim that is missing in the pictures. She ran and drove great when parked and I am sure if you installed a battery she would be up and running again quickly. The only issue I can see is the rust on the trunk lid, it is small and can be repaired or simply replace the whole trunk lid. She has two flat tires on the right hand side. With a little work and cleaning, she could be a beautiful, fun car once again. I just do not have the time and she deserves a better home.
