Here's a nicly built 1974 honda xl 250 flat tracker/ street tracker. Bike has been completely gone through and runs and rides as it should. Here is the list of upgrades as well as general updates on bike.Motor has been rebuilt by Powroll. It is now a 300cc with the new bore and a 10.5 compression piston. (must run premium gas) 93 octane or above. Also has a more agressive cam installed with the boretech valves. Motor is jetted properly with the shorter exhaust. It is a power house of a motor but does have a baffle so it is reletivly quite. Starts first kick and idles very smooth. Very reliable. Forks have been rebuilt with polished bottoms. 34 mmminkuni carb with a uni type filter has been added. Peg mounts have been change to a flat track set up. Buchanan's sun rims and spokes were laced and trued by them. have receipts to prove. $800 worth. Rims are sitting on dunlop and good year c class tires. Hubs are repainted. All new cables and hand controls are new. Exhaust is hand made and does have baffles made inside. Bike is a 5 speed and is very quick. Seat and gas tank have been painted nicely however in the back part by the petcock their is a little part that was messed up. You cant tell unless u look underneath. Bike has key switch on side plate. The wiring was converted to 12v system, no battery. Has led brake lights, licence plate light,horn , and led head light.(very bright) So bike can easily raced at a local vintage race night, or keep the lights on for a sweet street tracker. Again the bike is ready to ride on the road, or track, needs nothing, and easy to start. The bike is a blast to ride and is very peppy and quick.
