I've had this truck for a couple years and it served me well, but I moved to a very hot part of Southern California and needed air conditioning, so it was replaced with something newer. I'm a mechanic by trade and have maintained this truck extremely well since I bought it. The body is straight, with the exception of the shown area in front of the right rear wheel. There is no rust/cancer, but the clear coat is peeling a bit on the hood. The dash and interior are in very good condition and show no cracks or damage. It has brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrains, the timing chains, gears, and guides are all new, valve cover gasket and all related top end seals are new and leak free. All tie rods and steering components (drag link, pitman arm, ball joints, etc) as well as the front steering damper were replaced when I put new tires on it. All the shifter bushings are new (no floppy shifter feel like most of the trucks of this age). Alternator is about two months old. I also have a brand new grey sheepskin seat cover that will be included in the sale. There are NO LEAKS and this truck is excellent mechanical condition. This was one of the nicest versions of these trucks that I had seen when I purchased it and I finished up everything that I could think that might become a problem in the future. THE BAD: Soon after installing the alternator, I got a registration renewal notice which required smog. It failed smog and I don't have the time to figure out why, but my first guess is going to be a bad catalytic converter. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT ON and the vehicle drives, stops, idles, and accelerates perfectly. For this reason, I can't sell the vehicle in California, since it is the seller's responsibility to have a vehicle smogged before selling here. So, don't bother bidding if you live in CA. It won't work I am a very honest person and will happily answer any reasonable questions. I'd also be happy to take pictures of anything you want and if you'd like to have this truck inspected, I will even take it to a local shop (of your choosing, reasonably close to where I live) to have it looked at. This is a good truck and I'd like it to go to someone who will use it. Also, if you win the auction and for some reason decide that you don't want the truck when you come to pick it up, I'll gladly refund all of your money. It really is a great truck, I just don't have the need for it anymore. Thanks!
