1953 Cadillac Convertible~ Currently Owned 33 Years~ Original Matching Numbers This is an exceptional find for Cadillac convertible enthusiast. Sold new in the Northwest and lived in California, Oregon and Texas before coming to Michigan to be with, believed to be, it's third owner 33 years ago. Overall, this very cool convertible is ready to drive and enjoy at any "casual" level car show and gathering. The paint was refinished 25 years ago and still shows very well. The chrome looks excellent overall with only minor age related affects upon close inspection. The undercarriage is very solid overall. The top was replaced in 1982 and used sparingly. The interior leather was replaced about 15 years ago and looks great today. The mileage showing on the odometer is 47K although can not be certified. The power comes from its original (Verified matching numbers) 331 cubic inch V8. Our seller states that both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt and believe that is has traveled less than 10k miles since. All of the gauges work properly, and the power top functions as it should. The Black paint with Red leather is a sought after combination and is not only factory correct, it really is beautiful.
