Vehicle Detail
*I HAVE REMOVED THE RESERVE - GET IT NOW - YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED* This is my 4th Honda GL1000 Goldwing with two 1977's and one other 1979 under my belt. I saved the best for last! This bike was stripped down to the frame and all parts including frame, center stand, kickstand, swingarm and battery box all professionally powder coated. Replaced parts are a new wiring harness, new tires and tubes, new brake pads, new cables, new grips, new battery, new starter, new timing belts, new points, new fuel petcock, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, new valve guides and seats, new valve gaskets, new swing arm bushings, new rear shocks, new front fork seals and oil, new light bulbs in every light including all gauges, new front master cylinder, completely rebuilt rear master cylinder, new air filter, oil filter, rebuilt neutral switch, every piece of chrome that you see on the bike was hand polished, reconditioned soft and comfortable custom leather saddle, every nut and bolt was polished and torqued to exact OEM specifications, the carbs were cleaned and reworked with Randdak's jets, seals and gaskets, fuel tank was completely hydrostatically cleaned out and is free of all rust and coated, rear drive was flushed and refilled Honda OEM gear oil, radiator was hydrostatically cleaned and flushed, everything on this bike works as it is suppose to brand new. THE ONLY ISSUE IS WHEN I PUT THE CARBS BACK ON THE BIKE AND STARTED IT UP THERE WAS A SMALL LEAK UNDER THE CARBS. I recently went through a divorce, job and relocation and just do not have the time to finish it. If you are looking at this bike you know how sweet they are and how smooth the travel down the road. You also know that pulling the carbs back off is not a quick deal. It is not hard but it takes some time. I had thought I would complete this project this fall, but just don't have space or time to do so. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES BELOW TO SEE THE METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND TIME I HAVE PUT INTO IT. All the plastic's are present and can be installed as is although I was going to have repainted to the exact period color. Again, this is a 95% COMPLETED project and with just a few hours and a little knowledge of the carbs on this bike have could have it out on the road in no time. I will include all manuals, Randakk's DVD on mastering the carbs on this bike, all plastics and every last nut and screw needing to complete. I have EVERY piece you need. Bike is sold "AS-IS" with no warranties. $500 Deposit due through PayPal with 48 hours of auction's end to winning bidder. Shipping arrangements and costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I am happy to assist in loading the bike with the transporter. Balance of payment can be in the form of a wire transfer, cashier's check of made at time of pickup. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS AS THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN FOR THE WINNER OF THIS REMARKABLE EXAMPLE OF A TRUE CLASSIC ROAD WARRIOR HONDA GL1000. HAPPY BIDDING AND GOOD LUCK!
