Folks, I have one 1957 Porsche 356 speedster convertible for sale, this is a reproduction of the original car, was built by Fiber Fab in the 1980's. It is based upon a modified Volkswagen beetle chassis from 1975. It is registered as a 1975 Volkswagen Beetle. This is a very nice conversion, all original build work for this car was done from start to finish by a VW/Porsche custom shop in New York, The car has 39,000 since the conversion. The engine and running gear have less miles on them. I have owned it for about 7 years and have replaced almost all major components during that time. When I originally purchased the speedster, it had been in storage for 10 years and needed to be completely gone through and many components and rubber replaced. My hobby is restoring old German cars and I have a small collection. I drive this oneabout 800 miles per year and garage it in a dry,clean, well ventilated, wooden floor, elevated building. This sexy vintage machine has a 1600cc engine, that starts every time and runs perfectly, its light and fast, one sweet hotrod. I have upgraded to an alternator, H4 headlights, electronic ignition, electric fuel pumpe and disk brakes. My intent was not to ever sell this car, but life has other plans and now it is time for someone else to enjoy this machine. It has nice Porsche Gauges and the interior is clean. I expect a $500 paypal deposit within 48 hours of the auction end and full payment within 3 business days. The deposit is non refundable.The buyer can have up to 14 days to pick up the car, or arrange to have a shipper do so. This car has just gotten its annual Vermont state inspection and ready to drive! Winning buyer can pick the car up from me. I am willing to help with the loading when the shipper arrives. I have a dock height loading dock available as well. There is no title with this vehicle, in the State of Vermont titles are not required once a vehicle is 8 years or older. With the state issued bill of sale document, you should have no problem getting it registered in your state. Please check local DMV to verify this, as I am not very familiar with the laws outside of VT, pertaining to titles, etc. I will provide the new owner with a legal bill of sale and copy of its current registration. This car is being sold as is , where is with no warranty of any kind, or implied. I have owned, driven and worked on this car for the past 7 years, not happy to see it go. It is an antique, has imperfections and some wear and tear. it's not perfect, or a show car, but a nice clean and fun vintage driver.
