Vehicle Detail
1966 VW Baja This is a fantastic example of a VW Baja conversion. Ground up restoration and rebuild done right - no rust at all. Look at the photos all new wiring, gauges, tachometer, seats (front and back), racing harnesses, hydraulics, the list is endless. Only 6090 miles since build. Vehicle is titled in Pennsylvania and has a current registration/license plate and inspection. Here are some important specifications: 2100 CC Stroker VW Engine, Engle W120 Camshaft* 1.25 Ratio Rockers, Chromoly Push Rods, 82 mm C/W Crankshaft, 90.5 mm Stroker Pistons & Rods, Straight Cut Cam Gears, 0.44 Cylinder heads, Scat Valve Lifters, 2-Oil Coolers (1 with fan), MSD Ignition System, MSD Distributor, Turbonetics T3 Turbo, "C&S Specialties" special built Holley 4 barrel Carburetor for this turbo VW engine, K&N Air Filter Kennedy Stage 2 Racing Clutch with Lightweight Flywheel, California Bus Transmission Wilwood All 4 Wheel Disc Brakes Scat Racing Shifter 15" Mickey Thompson 4-Ply Tires on Front 31" Mickey Thompson 4-Ply Tires on Rear After-market 5-Point Harness Racing Seats VR3 CD/DVD Player, 900 watt 4 channel Jensen Amp, Rockford Fosgate 10" subwoofer, 2-Jensen 6x9 Speakers Fiberglass Fenders and Hood with Spring liftersBlue LED interior lights My Buy it Now price is less than the half build cost and reserve is under that. I hate to sell it but peripheral neuropathy is forcing my hand. Never the less this is a valuable vehicle and it will not be given away. *The Engle W120 is a Hot Street VW Bug camshaft grind designed for 1.1 or 1.25 rockers, and it's specs are .397" Cam Lift, .435" Valve Lift (1.1 Rockers), 294 degrees of advertised duration, and 253 degrees of duration at .050", on a 108 Lobe Center. The W120 is designed to give more power at the top end. You cannot use this with a stock carburetor, it will barely idle well with dual 1bbls or a center mount 2bbl. You really need at least dual 2bbls or a 4bbl for this camshaft to behave at idle and under 1500 RPM.
