I've owned this bike since 1999 and this summer my grandson and I restored it. The motor was stuck but I was lucky to get a 1977 CB750K from a friend that he wrecked bending the frame. There was no damage to the motor it ran fine then and still does. There is no difference in a 77 or 78 motor but these motors are different than the 69-76 versions. The bike is stock except for the exhaust and master cylinder. We put a lot of new parts on this bike including, master cylinder,rear tire and tube,factory 630 O-ring endless chain,battery,clutch,throttle &choke cable,spark plugs,oil &filter,changed fork oil,front fender brace,chrome trim on tank, & new grips. This is a nice old bike but does have some flaws. The tank is original paint with no dents but does have some scratches. The front fender has a small dent and the chrome could be better, I have other fenders you might like better. The rest of the chrome looks good some of it has minor pitting. The tach works well but color isn't the same as the speedo. The rims look good and were balanced at the Honda shop but they are not perfect. The bike looks really good for it's age and is super clean. The front tire has good tread but has some age on it.Carbs have just been done by local Honda Dealer. I got hurt in a fall so I can't ride anymore but I had two people ride it & they said it ran & handled great. It starts good & idles as it should. I've tried to describe this bike honestly & compared to the 750's on ebay this bike should rate about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The seat is original & never been recovered. The centerstand has been removed but goes with the bike, I didn't like the way it looked with the MAC pipe. specs. 1978CB750K Vin#CB7502809823 Color, Black Millage 22000+
