Vehicle Detail
First off, I own a BMW shop- This was a client's car who didn't have the money to put into the repair. We've been servicing this car for about 2 years now.The repair that was needed was a new engine wiring harness, throttle and engine computer. It's a common problem in the early model Z3 and 3 series engines. Now that it's been repaired, it's a very reliable car.I've been driving it on the weekends, and my wife steals it to put the top down every once and a while to drive her girlfriends around. Other than that, it just sits and we have too many cars, so we're selling this one.Private sale, clear title in my name. 2000 BMW Z3 2.3 (2.5 liter actually)96K milesOil service will be done before sale.Good brakes and tiresNo leaks on the groundMANUAL transmissionICE cold A/C. This has the "big" compressor, so the normally lacking Z3 air conditioning is anything but. It will freeze you out!6 disc CD changerNew convertible top a few years ago installed by the dealer (over 5 grand!)Common Z3 Glove box issue is fixed, no sags or flopping around. (common issue)Needs right front fog light, and seat bushings on driver's side (super easy)Have a ton of receipts, including original window sticker and all dealer receipts since new.It runs great, and other than having a few too many cars I have no real reason to sell it. It's a perfect extra car that is low maintenance and money. Is it perfect? No, its a 15 year old car. It needs some aesthetics here and there, has a few dings/scratches, has a little hail damage (that's not very easily seen due to the color) but it's solid mechanically. Is it perfectly fine to drive across the country? Totally.
