PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE BEFORE BIDDING!!! 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L 5 door minivan Aside from the transmission issue this van is in excellent mechanical and operational condition. All maintenance items have been tended to and the van needs nothing more than the transmission replaced. The engine is quiet and smooth and drives easily. The timing belt is not due for another 10,000 miles after having been replaced once already. It uses no oil. The tires have 15-20,000 miles left on the tread if not more and it drives very smooth straight. I just had the tires rotated and the vehicle aligned before the transmission went out. I have complete maintenance records and a maintenance log of the vehicle. If there was anything that needed fixing when I got the van 2 years ago, those items have been addressed. The transmission is the only issue to be resolved. I had the opportunity to upgrade to another Odyssey with more options so its time to sell this one. It's a great opportunity for someone who has the time and expertise to change out the transmission. It has been cleaned thoroughly. Only issue is some cracking on the driver and passenger leather seats. The exterior is in good condition as well. Only items are some paint peeling on the lower front air intake at the bottom and a deep scratch on the rear bumper cover that probably occurred when a trailer was being hooked up. The paint is in excellent condition-- no fading or peeling over the main areas of the body. All automatic doors work correctly. The vehicle has been cared for very well but many of the Odyssey vans suffer from poor transmissions and have issues. It still drives very nicely and is a great van. All it needs is the transmission.
